Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service (TWFRS) serves a resident population of over one million people across Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Sunderland.
Arkitec have been working with TWFRS since 2011 and have been involved in the development of several in-house projects.

Initially brought in to provide training, mentoring and guidance Arkitec have worked closely with the in-house IT and software development teams at TWFRS for a number of years.
Several projects have been delivered with Arkitec developers working alongside TWFRS staff. In 2016 the "Day Crewing" staffing system, jointly delivered by Arkitec and TWFRS, won 2nd place in a public sector digital innovation awards ceremony.
Arkitec have also built standalone systems on behalf of TWFRS including a fully responsive "Incident Mapping" website - an interactive website that visually plots incidents across the region each month.
